I'm back with another post from Malta! In this post, I'll share more hiking tales from the stunningly gorgeous island Malta. No wonder I loved my stay there so much.  How lucky was I! Not only did I get to visit this utterly gorgeous island, I also got to hike it for hours. Moreover, during my hikes, I felt like I was able to connect with Malta on a deeper level by exploring it with calm and patience.  As I said, I visited a friend on Malta, so I stayed with her. At that time, she was renting a rather lovely home from an old granny.  It wasn't a touristy place, and it was about thirty minutes bus drive from Valetta. With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Have I moved to Stari Grad? My recent posts seem to indicate so, but I'm still based in Jelsa. It is just that I love Stari Grad, so I visit it pretty often. It is only a five minute drive from Jelsa anyhow. I did consider renting here in Stari Grad when I initially arrived on island Hvar last year, but then I found something suitable in Jelsa. All for the best, because I still visit Stari Grad anytime. Anyway, let me show you what I wore for my latest visit to Stari Grad. You know this grey dress is the unsung hero of my wardrobe. I reach for it very often, especially when I can't figure out what to wear to work. A neutral dress like this one looks great paired with a blazer. It is easy to dress it up and down. The knee length makes it appropriate for a variety of situations and occasions. I have worn this grey dress for everything from hiking to conventions and fairs. It really is a magical neutral piece. This lake you see is artificial in origin but that doesn't make it less impressive.  If you ever visit Mostar, I recommend you visit this lake. It is situated in the vicinity of the city. Peaceful and serene atmosphere, birds and other animals to observe, beautiful nature, magnificent mountain views.... ...what is there not to love? THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ BY L.FRANK BAUM (BOOK REVIEW)

Today I'll review a true classic of children's literature: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz , a book by L. Frank Baum. I have read this book fairly recently, so it is still fresh in my mind.  I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by T he Wonderful Wizard of Oz .  I actually enjoyed it a lot, so my book review is also  a book recommendation.   This classic of children literature is such a well rounded tale.  You can read The  Wonderful Wizard of Oz for free on the pages of project Gutenberg here  (that's also the source for the quotes I'm going to use). OZZ STUDENTS' FASHION SHOW, MENTOR FASHION DESIGNER STANKA ZOVKO (MOSTAR INTERNATIONAL FAIR)

EN  Hello! Today I'm happy to share with you a wonderful fashion show I attended last Friday at Mostar International Fair. As you might remember, I regularly visit Mostar International Fair.  Anyhow, this time I was there to see and support a  really special fashion show. This fashion show showed creations from students who attended a fashion sewing and design course held by designer Stanka Zovko. If you remember, a few years back  I attended this sewing and design course myself. I was invited to present my creations as well. I couldn't participate myself this year due to previous engagements, but who knows maybe next year I'll get the chance. How amazing would it be to participate as a fashion designer?
